I'm Judy Quintero and I love engaging with early learners! Watching little faces light up when they discover something new is priceless, and guiding them towards that discovery is so rewarding.
My background is in finance and economics, but I'm also passionate about education. While my own children were in school, I volunteered many hours to teach programs such as Art Awareness in the Classroom and Junior Great Books.
I also worked with special needs middle schoolers as a substitute teacher and taught Hebrew at our synagogue. Most recently, I have enjoyed working at
Bethany Village Montessori, as an assistant teacher in the aftercare program for 3-6 year-olds.
My interest in the world of coding pedagogy developed as I watched my son prepare lessons as an instructor for
Coding With Kids. Coding With Kids is also an after-school enrichment program but begins with kindergarteners. I wanted to develop a program that 4-year-olds could grasp. With a little research, I quickly discovered a treasure trove of brilliantly designed toys and curricula for teaching basic coding concepts to preschoolers!

I've recently attended the ISTE Conference and Expo in Philadelphia and have come away with loads of inspiration and ideas that I'm excited to share with my students!
